Stratford Classical Christian Academy was founded in the autumn of 2000. It is located within the greater Philadelphia area, and is the only Classical Christian school in southern New Jersey.
As a Christian school, SCCA is committed to the integration of all learning under the authority of Christ. The academy emphasizes the moral and worldview formation of students in the biblical tradition of the Old and New Testaments, and of the historic Christian faith.
As a member of the Association of Classical Christian School, SCCA employs a classical methodology known as the Trivium. This method uses age-appropriate strategies that teach with the grain of students’ development. In the classical tradition, SCCA focuses on the seven liberal arts with an emphasis upon the following subject areas throughout its curriculum: theology, literature, history, English grammar, classical languages, logic, science, math, music, rhetoric, and the arts.
