In our search for a solid, Christian education, it seemed that our two options were SCCA and another South Jersey Christian school.  On paper, the two have the same curriculum and similar values.  We thought our decision would be easy considering that other school’s tuition was less and the school was much closer to our home.   After our first year at the other school, it seemed that this was a great decision.  Within the first few months of our 2^nd year at this other school, we began to notice a lack of certain disciplines, both in the students’ attitudes and in the school work.  We contacted our good friend whose children were at SCCA to see how they were progressing.  As we flipped through the pages of her children’s binders we were in awe of the incredible work they were doing.  We went back to visit SCCA again. 

It was then that we really saw the differences in the attitudes of the students and the staff at SCCA.  This school is not only clearly superior in its dedication to an excellent education, but also teaches the disciplines, respect, and leadership that we want our children to glean as well.  Although we are now adding 20 minutes to our commute and paying more tuition, every mile and penny are worth it.  Many thanks to the commitment of the staff at SCCA!!

We carefully considered the type of education setting we would place Angel in because that environment would be responsible for shaping her mind and heart. It had to provide for a smooth transition between home and school, a natural progression from instruction at home to education at school. The teachers should be an extension of us, working towards the goal of helping her excel. Consequently, we chose SCCA because it provides a nurturing environment where sound doctrine is not just taught but permeates everything that is done on a daily basis. Angel is trained to know that she exists to glorify God in all that she does. The teaching methodology and curriculum is geared towards academic excellence. This was proven by our extensive research & demonstrated by the children during the Prospective Parent Night sessions we attended.

When we made the decision to enroll our Kindergartner in SCCA in its initial school year, we were excited and hopeful for the future of the Academy. Now that we are in our third school year and have two sons enrolled, we are more confident than ever about our decision. The superior education and individual attention have been constant throughout the years. The learning environment is challenging, disciplined, and fun! Our boys love school, and have been given a love of learning.
